1) What this system is
Dungeons are instanced PvE runs with queue matchmaking, ready checks, scaling, and dungeon-specific reward routing.
2) Who should use it
- Players who want structured group progression.
- Players farming repeatable combat rewards.
- Parties practicing role coordination.
3) Core rules (exact mechanics)
Queue/ready system:
- Ready check duration: 30 seconds
- Ready check failure/decline penalty: 2 minutes
- Requeue token window (disconnect-before-first-boss): 2 minutes
General dungeon bands from current config defaults:
- Khaos (15-20)
- Khaos (20-25)
- Khaos (25-29)
- Dungeon of Fear I (30)
- Dungeon of Fear II (30)
General reward behavior:
- Dungeon queueing is still handled by the dungeon finder system.
- Dungeon NPCs now lean more clearly into material/essence drops.
- Dungeon chest loot was cleaned up through chest asset pools.
- Shared top tabs now let you jump back and forth between Inventory, Skills, Quests, Party, and Dungeon Finder more cleanly.
Current chest behavior:
- Common dungeon chests roll 1-6 items
- Legendary/gold dungeon chests roll 4-12 items
- Common chests lean more toward bars and useful gatherables
- Better chests lean more toward silver/gold bars, gems, and stronger utility materials
4) Progression path
- Enter with repaired gear, food, and potions.
- Do not ignore ready checks.
- Use the dungeon finder tab/menu flow instead of bouncing through unrelated commands.
- Learn each dungeon’s pacing before trying to speed-run.
- Use dungeon farming to support your crafting and profession loops, not just raw gear hope.
5) Rewards and breakpoints
- Better consistency comes from clean clears, not reckless pulls.
- Material drops now feed professions more cleanly than before.
- Chest quality matters more after the loot cleanup.
- Dungeon runs are now stronger for profession support, not just raw combat farming.
6) Common mistakes
- Queueing undergeared with no food/potion prep.
- Ignoring class weapon and armor rules before entering.
- Expecting every dungeon creature to be pure gear loot instead of material progression.
- Leaving runs early and eating avoidable queue penalties.
